Side questing
Took a little side quest last weekend and walked in a runway show. It was a lot more fun…and a lot harder…than I expected. Huge respect to the models who make it look effortless, because I spent most of the time trying to remember how to walk. I had an awesome time, met some great people, and I’m glad I did not eat face on the slippery runway. That said, I think I’ll stick to the career where people expect me to be awkward on stage. 11 hours in heels, can they just roll me

It’s Time
I truly don’t think people should be in one place forever. Especially when it comes to your home town. Nobody is ever going to treat you the way you deserve, and there will be more hate than you could even imagine. It’s time for me as a comic to make some major moves. Over the past few months I have been torn on where to go. Do I go to LA? Or New York? Austin? I had my heart set on Chicago but I don’t know if that’s the right place for me anymore. Even though not having to dr

Alchemy
I wish I could say that some people are just “funny.” The more funny people I come across I find that hard to believe. Behind the funniest of funny, is pain. Deep, heart wrenching pain that somehow gets transfused into another persons laughter. The hackiest of all comedy usually comes from a person with the worst thing that happened to them was they got broke up with. These comics live blissfully unaware that they are hacky, or unfunny. Most of the time they think they are

The morning after a Comedy Show
I wake up the morning after a comedy show with the same questions people probably have after a questionable night. Why is this guy in my bed? Did I say something embarrassing? Did anyone get my jokes? Why did I eat chinese food at midnight? Also who is this random person’s phone number in my contacts? Doing stand-up is weird because for ten minutes you become the most confident person alive. When I’m confident for the most part but I’m running out there like I HAVE THINGS TO

Oopsie I think I made a boo boo
I’m guilt tripping myself rn for taking the night off open mics. I’ve been doing so well, consecutively getting up to 20 min a night (even on weekdays.) I truly feel the comedy scene growing beneath my photo wanted feet. I can’t wait to perform my new set this weekend, it is deep, personal, and edgy. The best way to transmute pain, is creatively. Things aren’t happening to me, they are happening for me. I’m telling that to myself, trust me it’s hard for me to believe it as we

My dog thinks my life is a reality show & he is right
Written by : My Dog Aries Moon (who legally should be getting paid for emotional labor) I didn’t choose this life. I was adopted into it. At first, I thought I was joining a calm household. A woman. A couch. A routine. Maybe some scheduled walks. You know… stability. What I got instead is a rotating cast of emotionally unstable side characters, sudden energy shifts, and a woman who walks around like she is being built for some type of documentary. I am, unfortunately, the onl

Last night I made it out to Tampa for a fun Don’t Tell Show! It was sold out & in a private venue. I def could have dressed nicer lol Highly recommended getting booked on these shows if you can. Tonight there’s like 5 shows in Orlando which is crazy. The grind never stops though. They are like Pokémon, got to catch them all!

Birthdays
Another year around the sun. Another year of grinding, pushing forward, constantly sending out email avails, all while keeping my day job in tact. A lot of people look at comedians and don’t realize that many of us are still working during the day, hoping to get a nap inbetween then going back out at night. You do that, until you don’t. The day I am able to break off creatively entirely will truly be a blessing. Then we have birthdays. Let me teach you this, there are two typ

Obsession and Backrooms
We’re going to do a funny movie review of two big box office horror flicks that just came out. 2 days ago I saw Obsession, and I have to say it is the best horror film I have seen in a LONG time even though it gave me PTSD bc I have had guys save my trash before, which I think is very weird. Part of me thinks it was written about a girl who was just on her period. I left this movie thinking I deserve apologies from people for telling me that I was acting out. The scariest par

Idk why I am doing this but, hi.
The last time I blogged was when I had a Xanga. Does anyone remember those? Wait I didn’t just say that bc that would make me sound old. My birthday is this week, and by numbers I am going to be old…but… I oddly think I switched bodies with a younger soul or timeline version of myself when I died. Oh, you didn’t know? I’m a zombie jk I am a human. I tried to be a zombie, and the producers said I was too pretty. HOW RUDE! I have a bunch of comedy shows coming up in Orlando. I
