My dog thinks my life is a reality show & he is right

I didn’t choose this life. I was adopted into it.

At first, I thought I was joining a calm household. A woman. A couch. A routine. Maybe some scheduled walks. You know… stability.

What I got instead is a rotating cast of emotionally unstable side characters, sudden energy shifts, and a woman who walks around like she is being built for some type of documentary. I am, unfortunately, the only consistent thing here.

Rarely there is a man. They always act confident at first. She’s happy, then quiet, then staring into the fridge like it personally offended her. The man is now sitting on the couch, waiting for god knows what.

Sometimes they stay too long. I’ve stopped trying to understand. I should not be this involved in human romantic confusion.

At night, when normal dogs sleep, I do too.

But not peacefully.Because she will get up, go to the kitchen, and sometimes she opens the fridge, closes it, opens it again like something emotionally meaningful will appear inside. Nothing ever is showing up in there.

The phone controls everything. If it lights up, the whole house changes energy. One second she’s fine. The next second she’s pacing like she’s about to negotiate a hostag situation.Sometimes she laughs at it. Sometimes she stares at it like it owes her money. I have never seen peace come from that rectangle. Only confusion. And silence. And then walking around the house like. something important was just lost in a war.Honestly, if I had paws capable of sabotage, I would bury it.

There is romance. There is chaos. There is fridge opening for no reason.

And through it all, I remain loyal.

Swear to god your most endearing comedic quality is being emotionally aware while trying to sound cool and nonchalant. Makes the audience think they're seeing past the persona and seeing something you don't want them to see. This is what skilled actors learn how to do. Keep that. " I remain loyal." is one of the most beautiful sentiments I've ever heard
